A Flemish artist, Dries Depooter, is using artificial intelligence to catch politicians using their phones during government meetings, and subsequently shaming them on social media.

The artist monitors online streams of government meetings, applying machine learning software to detect phones and facial recognition to identify the distracted lawmakers. The videos are then posted on Depoorter’s Twitter and Instagram accounts setup for this specific project.
