ZTE Nubia Z17: really cheap, yet a performance monster

Taking advantage of a live conference held in Beijing last week, ZTE launched one of its next flagships designed by one of its subsidiaries, the Nubia Z17. At the moment, it is difficult to know if this model will arrive in the US, and you will really hope that it arrives, because the Z17 is really worth the shot!

The ZTE Nubia Z17 promises to be a remarkable flagship in terms of performance or functionality, it is also particularly aesthetic and resistant to the hull. The device offers a technical sheet that a large number of manufacturers would be unable to offer at a price and that will make it compete with the flagship of the biggest brands.

The RAM and Processor

The Nubia Z17 boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octocors chip running at 2.45 GHz, supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM,. Just saying that, we know that we are in the presence of a monster of power.

Internal storage

The new smartphone from ZTE boasts of a 64 or 128 GB of storage.

Nubia’s ultra-powerful smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-screen IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Its aluminum shell is highly durable and is adorned with beautiful colors. The model is advertised as waterproof.

Camera Performance

The Dual Lens system on the back of the smartphone offers two sensors with a resolution of 12 and 23 Megapixels, and a sensor of 16 Megapixels at the front, so we see that ZTE also worked its shutter Photo / video to deliver great performance.

Battery specs

The Nubia Z17 has a 3,200 mAh battery, equipped with a NeoCharge technology for energy savings. The smartphone also incorporates the QuickCharge 4.0 technology, faster than the QuickCharge 3.0, although at this point it seems that the first buyers will have the 3.0 version, due to chargers not being compatible with the 4.0. The promised recharge time is 25 minutes for 50% and the autonomy of the Z17 will be 2.4 days.

The smartphone will run on Android version 7.1.1.

The Nubia Z17 is particularly competitive in terms of value for money

The Nubia Z17 will be sold for around $405 for the 6 GB RAM / 64 GB model, and $494.70 for the 128 GB version. The phone’s price / specs ratio is really interesting, customers will be getting a high performance device, with impressive hardware, for a reasonable price, really something to look out for.
